Some, such as PMS, menopause, or reactions to stress, may be thrust upon us by estrogen and testosterone. However, no one has to be led by their hormones, although anyone can choose that path, then use hormones as an excuse. We all have choices and you do, too. I do and you do, too. Yet if we approach our relationships from a stand-point of always being "right," we lose harmony, while promoting constant competition. The real loser in any relationship is the person who always has to win. The bottom line is simple. Don't view your spouse/partner/lover through glasses colored by gender stereotypes. Look at and listen to your partner, not as representative of some group of "men" or "women," but as a person. After all, you aren't looking at a stereotype, you are looking at THE person you love.
