Have you ever noticed that some people never date. They may have lots of
friends but dating is not part of their life.
It is like their dating life is on permanent hold.
For some reason--an ailing parent, a career, children-- they put their life on
hold for another time. And they are not dating because...
You've heard the excuses. They are not dating now but...
- After mom is gone...
- After I buy a house...
- After I loose some weight...
- After I get that promotion...
- After the kids are grown...
Maybe you have used some of these excuses yourself.
It's Easy to Be Single...
The easiest way to be single is to put your dating life on hold. Staying home
with your same-sex friends takes little or no effort.
It pretty well stops rejection from the opposite-sex.
And... it almost guarantees that you will never marry or be in a long-term
relationship.. |

All
you can ever control is your personal input into the process. You can't control the
outcome.

Take Dating Life Off Hold You
are the only person who can release the hold button on your dating life.
A few hints:
1. Don't expect perfection. If you can never settle for any date that is less
than perfect, or if you must be perfect yourself, you will usually defeat yourself and
settle for nothing.
2. Don't fear failure. If you evaluate yourself strictly on the outcome,
rather than your personal effort during the dating process, your self-esteem takes a
beating with each rejection.
3. All you can ever control is your personal input into the process. You
can't control the outcome.
4. Once you concentrate on the process itself, rather than the outcome of
each date, you can learn from mistakes, attempt to correct them in the future, and take
yourself off the emotional roller-coaster of the dating world.
