Falling Waters State Recreation Area
This area is named for a 67-foot waterfall. Falling Waters Sink is a 100-foot deep and
20-foot wide cylindrical pit. A small stream drops 67 feet to the bottom of the sink.

Dry Tortugas
Dry Tortugas National Park
This enormous (almost 65,000 acres) federal park is a cluster of seven islands called the
Dry Tortugas because the islands have no fresh water. The islands form a serious
navigation hazard, are the site of hundreds of ship wrecks, and are home to abundant
wildlife. Also home of the never-completed Ft. Jefferson, the largest of the 19th century

Marianna
Florida Caverns State Park
Fantastic tour cave that contains everything from stalactites and stalagmites to soda
straws, columns, rimstones, flowstones and draperies. Other caves require permits to
explore. In addition, you have 1,300 acres of outdoor beauty and wildlife. The Chipola
River makes a good spot for picnicing, camping, canoeing, fishing, and swimming and
